I entered the "rust" challenge past Somerset Studio Magazine. Somerset Studio is a mixed media publication, with the art of paper & mixed-media. I'm pleased to announce my entry, Rock Bottom was chosen for the March/April 2018 effect. In this class you lot will learn the basics of paper clay sculpting. These modest "Mounties" are merely adorable on the wall, or on a shelf, and have the greatest personalities. Learn to build an armature to hold your clay, dirt awarding, acrylic painting, and wood staining. You volition also be instructed in forming your armature to give your dirt slice a lifelike look. I was approached for a donation from the Arizona Country Briefing for the American Cancer Society, Breast Cancer Relay for life arrangement in early summer of 2016. Bra Couture AZ "The Art of Supporting Cancer Survivors" mission, along with the American Cancer Lodge is to support uninsured/underinsured cancer patients who have been touched past all cancers. Tin you imagine facing cancer without any insurance, or sufficient insurance to cover critical items? At Bra Couture AZ, we know that individuals diagnosed with cancer are more fearful of facing the disease without the money than but facing the disease itself.
I donated the post-obit 11" x 14" mixed media art creation this twelvemonth titled, Good Vibrations. It was created from a normal white bra. The bra cups are filled with positive affirmations. A person can read one of these positive affirmations each mean solar day. The original art creation went for $275.00 and to a chest cancer survivor.
I would like to thank the American Cancer Society for their back up of this wonderful consequence. Thanking as well the women who received my original artwork. It was made with the retentivity of many friends who have suffered, and survived this devastating affliction.

My original work of art will exist published in Somerset Memories Mag, April, 2013 issue. The necklace/wall hanging was inspired by the loss of my mother, creating this piece shortly after her death. I want to thank Somerset/Stampington Corporation for once again recognizing, and publishing my art, in another of their superior mixed media magazines. It was due to my offering that Somerset Memories Mag now has a "concluding page" section for a slice of fine art associated with a touching memory.
My original work of art has been published in Somerset Studio Gallery Magazine, Winter, 2012 issue. My creation of iii mixed media necklaces will motivate anyone to begin creating. These fine art pieces are easy to assemble and personalize for yourself or that special gift. They are wonderful for necklaces, fan pulls or to inspire every bit a hanging in your cubicle at work, giving you lot that one word or ii to motivate you each day. I desire to give thanks Somerset for again recognizing and publishing my art in this superior mixed media magazine.
My original work of fine art was submitted to Somerset Magazine, Edgar Allan Poe challenge and accustomed. My piece of work has been published in the Somerset Studio Magazine, September 2012 effect, Expressions section, which is on the mag stands today. My rendition of The Tell Tale Centre will be featured with full directions. This is a true mixed media slice having used everything, merely the kitchen sink!
